The Boundary County Fair Board is putting out the call for volunteers to help make this year’s fair one of the best ever.
Superintendents and assistants are needed in several areas, and it’s your chance to share your expertise while meeting and greeting neighbors at Boundary County’s most festive event of the year.
Areas currently open include arts, crafts, photography and flowers. Volunteers will need to be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 28, for a meeting and to begin decorating; from 4:40 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, and from 6:45 a.m. to noon Wednesday, September 1, for entries, and from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, September 5, for taking down displays. If you can’t help on all of the days, that’s okay, but the more help the better!
