Sarah L. Alyea, 18, Troy, Montana; charged December 22, 2003, with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use (misdemeanor), charge dismissed April 6.

 

Charles A. Johnston, 38, Bonners Ferry; charged July 28, 2003, with lewd conduct with a child under 16 (felony), pled guilty to amended charge of injury to child (felony), sentenced by Judge Steve Verby April 6 to three to 10 years in prison, suspended, retained sentence, retained jurisdiction and $88.50 court costs.

 

Joshua White, 28, Bonners Ferry; charged July 7, 2003, with lewd conduct with a child under 16 (felony), pled guilty to amended charge of sexual abuse of a child under 16 (felony), sentenced by Judge James Michaud April 8 to seven to 15 years in prison, $500 defender fees.

 

William Kent Blackmore, 24, Bonners Ferry; charged October 9, 2003 with malicious injury to property (felony), pled guilty to amended charge of malicious injury to property (misdemeanor), sentenced by Judge Justin Julian April 6 to 90 days in jail, 85 days suspended, one year, six months and 21 days probation, $1,000 fine, $900 suspended, $4,392.66 restitution and $81.50 court costs.

 

Dan A. Briggs, 37, Bonners Ferry; charged February 2, 2002, with driving under the influence (felony), pled guilty March 17, sentenced by Judge Charles Hosack to two to five years prison, suspended, 49 days in jail, one year, five months and six days probation $207 court costs, $500 restitution, retained sentence.

 

Robert A. Fulton, 19, Bonners Ferry; charged October 9, 2003, with malicious injury to property (felony), pled guilty to amended charge of malicious injury to property (misdemeanor), sentenced by Judge Justin Julian April 6 to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $900 suspended, one year, six months and 10 days probation, $4,392.66 restitution and $81.50 court costs.

 

Shane Alexander Portrey, 21, Bonners Ferry; charged October 9, 2003, with malicious injury to property (felony), pled guilty to amended charge of malicious injury to property (misdemeanor), sentenced by Judge Justin Julian April 6 to 90 days in jail, 87 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $900 suspended, one year, six months and 17 days probation, $4,392.66 restitution and $73.60 court costs.

 

Gary Lee Purdey, 65, Bonners Ferry; charged February 12, 2004, with driving under the influence (misdemeanor), pled guilty April 6 and sentenced by Judge Justin Julian to 30 days in jail, 28 days suspended, 16 hours in inmate labor program in lieu of jail, $500 fine, $200 suspended, one year probation, 90 day drivers license suspension, substance abuse counseling, victims panel, and $88.50 court costs.

 

James W. Chubb, 39, Bonners Ferry; charged November 20, 2003, with attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud or forgery (felony), plead guilty April 6 and sentenced by Judge Steve Verby to nine months to four years in prison and $88.50 court costs.

 

Jeremy T. Nelson, 19, Bonners Ferry; charged February 24, 2004, with failure to provide proof of insurance (misdemeanor), pled guilty April 5 and sentenced by Judge Justin Julian to 90 days in jail, suspended, $200 fine, two years probation and $73.50 court costs.
