The Boundary County Fair Board is putting out the call for volunteers to help make this year’s fair one of the best ever.
Superintendents and assistants are needed in several areas, and it’s your chance to share your expertise while meeting and greeting your neighbors at the county’s most festive event of the year.
Areas currently open include arts, crafts, flowers and photography, and volunteers will need to be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 28, from 4:40 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, from 6:45 a.m. until noon Wednesday, September 1, and from 10:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, September 5. Also needed are volunteers to lead and assist with the rabbit category.
This years’ fair takes place August 31 through September 5 and the theme is “Mother Goose is on the Loose at the Boundary County Fair!”
To volunteer or to find out more, call fair board secretary Pat Dinning at (208) 267-7041.
