Three
injured in shooting incident, injuries not life threatening

The Boundary County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of two people shot at the Stateline Tavern on the Idaho/Montana border at 8:27 p.m. When deputies arrived, they found that three people had been injured. Troy Volunteer Ambulance, Troy, Montana, transported them to St. John’s Hospital in Libby.
None of the injuries were life threatening, and the names of those involved have not been released as the investigation continues.
According to Boundary County Sheriff George Voyles, the three were injured during an altercation at a nearby home on the Idaho side of the state line. A firearm was discharged, he said, resulting in injuries to two people. The third was apparently injured during the altercation. No arrests have yet been made.
The Sheriff’s Office secured the scene overnight and obtained a search warrant, which is being served at this time as the investigation continues with assistance from the Idaho State Police and the Lincoln County, Montana, Sheriffs Office.
