Following the announcement that Boundary County Clerk Diane Cartwright is resigning to become business manager at School District 101, the Boundary County Democratic Central Committee submitted three names to county commissioners from which the final selection will be made.
The names submitted were Dolores Sweet, Sue Larson and Glenda Poston.
County Commissioners plan to interview the candidates Monday, February 23; the successful candidate is to be sworn into office March 9.
Cartwright’s resignation is effective March 8, and she’ll be the guest of honor at a potluck breakfast on the main floor of the courthouse at 8 a.m. Tuesday, February 24.
