The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission is accepting letters of interest from those who’d like to serve as a commission member to fill a four-year term that will expire January 31.
To ensure geographic representation, preference will be given to those residing in the Porthill area or in the Curley Creek area. To qualify, the applicant must have lived in Boundary County for a minimum of two years.
Member of the Planning and Zoning Commission meet the third Thursday of each month to consider land use proposals and also assist the Board of County Commissioners in promulgating land use ordinances for Boundary County.
The Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners would also like to take this opportunity to thank Donna Standley, who served on the commission for over 10 years, and whose dedication and service to the community has made a significant contribution.
