In addition to this certificate of exemption, applicants are required by Boundary County to obtain zoning certificates for each structure built and by the State of Idaho to submit application for electrical, plumping and septic system inspections prior to the onset of construction, and a permit from the Boundary County Road and Bridge Department is also required if a new access is to be created on a county road.  If construction includes the installation of a new water well, a permit is also required from the Idaho Department of Water Resources.
