Notice of Public Hearing

The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005, in the Main Courtroom at the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on application VAR 05-05 by John Miller, Moyie Springs, who is seeking a variance to divide a 19.44-acre parcel into a 10-acre parcel and a 9.44 acre parcel, on property located on Perkins Ridge, particularly parcel RP62N03E083007A.

The parcel is zoned agriculture/forestry, which requires a minimum 10-acre parcel size. The reason for requesting a variance is due to the topography and physical layout of the existing parcel.

The deadline for written comment and material is 5 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2005. Written comment may be mailed to Boundary County Planning and Zoning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, faxed to (208) 267-1205, or emailed to planning@boundarycounty.org. Written comment will be accepted at public hearing provided the material is read into the record. There may be a five-minute limit per person on verbal testimony.
